I've been reading a lot about this lately. I seem to be gravitating towards books and podcasts discussing what winning really means and how we can shift our mindset around what success looks like for us. There is some really interesting stuff out there about how this shift in mindset can not only help our performance, but also support our mental health and well-being both while we are performing and as we head into retirement (particularly in the case of elite/professional athletes and perfomers). I'm really intrigued by this idea of keeping going perhaps beyond the 'finish line' and what this can mean for us mentally. I think this way of approaching skill development and performance so these experiences are nourishing and not depleting offers great insight and opportunities.
